Adam and Louise swung through Colorado on an epic road trip, traveling from their hometown of Chicago to go visit family in New Mexico. So, while they were planning out their road trip, they decided to make a pit stop to hang out with Randy for their Colorado Springs engagement session at Garden of the Gods! As you guys know, we absolutely love this time of the year at Garden of the Gods and we totally lucked out with some the last remnants of fall color! They actually had to make a 10 hour drive from the middle of New Mexico before meeting up for their session!! Randy took them all over Garden of the Gods, including our new favorite shooting spot at High Point – which shows kissing camels off in the distance!
These two met online (like so many people we know!), and from the get-go they knew each other was something special; Louise said it only took a couple of dates when they were well on their way to “loooove!” (haha!) Through campfires and boxes of Hamburger Helper, they fell in love. But it wasn’t until their second anniversary that Adam proposed. They went out to dinner at a nice restaurant, sitting in a cozy romantic corner booth when Adam pulled out his great-grandma’s ring and proposed – which just sounds so intimate and perfect!! Afterward, they celebrated with friends at a rooftop bar! Adam planned the whole thing, which makes it extra special. We LOVE when proposals are so well thought out, and special!
Now they’re in the midst of planning their wedding and we are both so excited for all of the amazing things coming up for these two!! These two just have so much fun together, and fit together like two pieces of the same puzzle. Congratulations on your engagement, you guys!!!
