Let me start by saying this – I am so incredibly excited and proud to be sharing this Palm Springs LGBT engagement session. It’s my first one out here in California and I am so, so excited about it.

Lou and Chris met a few years ago; they are both flight attendants for the same airline, and after passing by each other a few times at various airports decided a couple of years ago to just hang out one night. Chris told me that he knew that very first night, after spending the whole night just talking with Lou, that they were meant to be together. For Lou – it was pretty soon after that he thought, “why bother fighting this feeling? It’s real, I know it’s real, he’s the one!” Chris proposed on a vacation trip to Hawaii, and are happily planning their 2015 wedding which might be here in Palm Springs – maybe even at the same Air Museum that we did part of their engagement session at! I hadn’t been to the museum since I was in 8th grade, so it was pretty cool to go back and check it back out as an adult. They had so many awesome planes, inside the hangar and outside with a beautiful view on Mt. San Jacinto – we definitely wanted to incorporate the planes into their session since they both love airplanes and work in aviation. We also went to a little sweet spot in south Palm Springs to get in some desert shots, where Lou + Chris cracked open a bottle of their favorite champagne, Ballatore and we had a mini celebration of their love, their engagement, their hopes, their dreams – their future!
