TreePeople Park Engagement Session

May 1, 2017

Whew! What a way to start off our amazing weekend in California this past month! If you follow me on Instagram (which you totally should: @randyandashleystudios), you probably saw our wild weekend adventure on our InstaStory. We took our very first Uber ride (and subsequently our second), got to cruise through Beverly Hills, and all kinds of fun shenanigans in between! But hanging out with Christian, Alexxa, their little guy Carter and Alexxa’s best friend made all the craziness of traveling totally worth it!

We met at TreePeople Park off Mulholland Drive in the Santa Monica mountains above Beverly Hills, and it was such a gorgeous location. TreePeople Park is the cool little hidden gem in the middle of a busy neighborhood, filled with lots of foliage, hiking trails, wildflowers, and an amazing view of the valley. When we went, they even had live music playing somewhere nearby (I never saw where it was coming from, but, it was definitely live and nearby! Haha!).

Christian and Alexxa are such an amazing couple together; the whole time we we were together, I couldn’t help but notice the way they would steal glances at the other when they weren’t looking. It’s pretty clear that both of them feel just all kinds of blessed to be together, raising their super adorable cutie-patootie son Carter and getting married next summer. They’ve been together for a few years now, and while there’s some debate on whether Christian actually got down on one knee for the proposal (haha!) – there’s one thing we can all agree on: their wedding is going to be AMAZING. We’ll be traveling to Sonoma (in wine country in Northern California) for it, and we absolutely cannot wait!

Congratulations to our friends Alexxa and Christian – so excited for all of the amazing things coming up!!
