This Fort Carson couples photography session was absolutely lovely down at the Fountain Creek Nature Center in late April. This was really the first “spring” session of the year – it was warm and gorgeous, the trees were starting to turn green and blossom. Zillah and DJ are nothing short of “inspiring,” really. They started their lives together young, just like Randy and I did, and they have five beautiful children together. I can’t wait to do their family session, it should be so fun! DJ is in the Army reserves, and a stay-at-home-dad. I have such respect for stay-at-home parents – it really is the toughest job in the world! With the busy lives they lead, this was actually the FIRST ever professional photos that Zillah + DJ have had together. Talk about an honor!
