Hello and happy Monday, friends!! We’ve been waiting until the perfect moment to share this day-after adventure session at Steamboat Lake State Park … and today feels like a good day! We were able to meet up with Kevin and Liz in Steamboat Springs on our way back down from our family vacation to Yellowstone this summer (which yes, we will blog about … eventually … at some point … when things settle down in the midst of our crazy fall wedding season, haha). It’s been a pretty wild and busy few weeks for us, so we’re just a little behind on our blogging – whoopsy daisy!
Anyway! Let’s chat more about Liz and Kevin, and their gorgeous day-after adventure session at Steamboat Lake!
These two actually had gotten married the day before at a courthouse in Denver, so this was more of a day-after adventure session since it was a destination wedding. We spent some time frolicking around the local river, which was surprisingly warm and refreshing! Afterward, we found a beautiful and abandoned log cabin that had the most amazing light shining through. Then, we finished their day-after adventure session hiking around Steamboat Lake State Park. It was our very first time to Steamboat Lake, and it was absolutely breathtaking. All of us must have said, “this is just so freaking magical” at least half a dozen times! The views of the mountains and the gorgeous Colorado sunset was certainly a sight to behold!
We are so grateful that we were able to spend a glorious summer afternoon with these two, celebrating their new marriage with their day-after adventure session at Steamboat Lake State Park!
