Avalon Hotel Wedding Reception at the Presidio Garden

We are soooo excited to finally be sharing this gorgeous Avalon Hotel Wedding! The Presidio Garden at the Avalon is easily one of our favorite wedding and reception sites in Palm Springs – it’s intimate yet spacious, lush yet very “Palm Springs.” This wedding took place a few months ago, and while we’re not able to share a ton of photos from this private wedding, our bride + groom have graciously allowed us to share a few of our favorite details!

They dined ‘family style’ with long tables covered with black tablecloths, with a glamorous sequined gold table runner. The tablescapes were covered with red roses with black feathers, gold chargers and flatware, and black pillars with floating candles. The couples’ vision of a glamorous black and gold wedding with accents of red and purple were perfectly executed by Jessica and the team at Artisan Events!

Everything looked beautiful and glamourous – it was a perfect Palm Springs wedding!

And can we talk about those white and red Louboutin heels for just a minute?!

Joey Lizotte with Artisan Events did a marvelous job with their unique bridal bouquet – incorporating dark purples, cream and even black flowers! This bouquet was extra special because on the black ribbon were the names of those special family members who have passed on – it was a touching memorial and tribute to them.

Our bride absolutely adores Kermit the Frog – she has since she was a little girl. So it was perfectly fitting that Kermit (and his ladylove, Miss Piggy) top their wedding cake!! Roman Blas of Over the Rainbow Bakery in Palm Springs did such a phenomenal job on their black and white striped wedding cake – everyone loved it, and said it was the best tasting cake ever!
