When we moved into this neighborhood a month ago, there was another home for sale and this past week, we got to meet the new neighbors.

They move in today and so Sierra and I decided to bake them some fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies to welcome them to their new home.

Looks picture perfect, but what you don’t see:

– my cauliflower pizza turning into charcoal
– my oven totally spazzing out and screaming at me with buzzing sounds and error codes
– and my whole house then filling up with smoke

Truth is, that’s a lot like social media. We want to be welcoming, we want to be friendly and bake everyone some proverbial chocolate chip cookies … but what no one ever sees the flames in the kitchen and hears the smoke detector going off.

Can I get an amen? 😂
