my story

and we've been adventuring together ever since.

met my husband Randy in the summer of 2002, just out of high school - full of ideas, hopes and dreams for the future. To say we had a "whirlwind romance" would be putting it mildly - we met, got engaged, had a baby and got married in less than a year!

You see, it's because of Randy that I am a firm believer in love at first sight, in soul mates, and in the little things. Why? Because I've experienced it.

(yes, that's us on our wedding day, march 3, 2003)

get to know a little more about what makes me tick

Hi, I'm Ashley

ENFP, left-brained, coffee, Marvel movies, gets lost in a good book and can recite Gilmore Girls and Friends quotes with ease.

a few of my rad couples

t was in 2008 that this whole photography thing started. Before Randy headed out to Afghanistan for a deployment while he was in the Air Force, he bought me my first DSLR (a Nikon D40) because I loved photography so much, and was always taking pictures of everything. While he was gone, I began learning how to shoot with it and two years later, after we moved to North Dakota, I up and decided one day to start a photography business - just for fun, maybe make a little side money. No big deal, right?

eah, I had no idea that my "little photography side business" would take me on the adventure of a lifetime, and that photography would become something I am so absolutely and utterly passionate about. Not only am I able to work and travel all over the country and world, but I am able to tell love stories with my camera and meet the most amazing people.

After shooting weddings together for four years, Randy will be hanging up his camera for good in May 2019 to pursue his own life purpose (#proudwifemoment), and I will be focusing on small, intimate weddings and portraits in 2019!

meet      family

y kids - Daniel, Katelyn, Sierra + Noah - are pretty much the most awesome people in my world - they inspire my creativity, make me want to be a better person, and they've taught me so much about life + love ... and maybe just a little bit about having patience! Haha!

We love road tripping all over the country together, watching our boys play football, watch Netflix and cuddling with our dogs.
