Mike + Christina are just absolutely fabulous. Top to bottom – I just adore them. I met them late last year when I did their Christmas Card photos and ever since then, we have been pals. When we were at their session in November, we talked about how they wanted to do a “love the dress” type bridal photography session in the snow. When they got married a year ago today at the Pinery in Black Forest, they weren’t really able to get any in-the-snow type shots because as Colorado weather goes – there was none on the ground in March, haha.

So we decided – let’s do it! Let’s rock the dress in the snow and celebrate their first wedding anniversary together! Of course, the day we picked to do their session was an unseasonably warm day sandwiched in between snow storms – so we totally lucked out with snow on the ground and 50-something-degree temperature. We did this Colorado Springs bridal session up at Fox Run Park in the northern part of town and it is one of my favorite “love the dress” sessions to date!

Happy, happy anniversary to the two of you. May God bless you both with many years of love and happiness … and BABIES! Hahahaha!
