Saying “see you later” is never easy. I went through a “see you later” with Randy back in December 2008, when he deployed the day after Christmas for 194 days to Afghanistan. It literally was the worst 7 months of my entire life, and while Randy is no longer active duty – we have several friends who still are. In fact, some of our most special clients are stationed here at Peterson Air Force Base and Fort Carson … and this week we are saying “see you later” to a few very special people. One of those is Sabryna, who is heading overseas for a few months with the Army.
Cheyenne and Sabryna have become very good friends to us – they are so sweet, and amazing. We recently did their engagement session in December, and just last month they drove down to New Mexico to get married. While we weren’t able to be there for their wedding, Sabryna did ask us to do a pre-deployment session for them just a few days ago, and I am so honored to share these on the blog tonight.
God speed to you, my wonderful friend, and the rest of the soldiers heading out or currently deployed overseas – and come home soon! xoxo
PS – Cheyenne’s amazing shoes were purchased online. She said to just google “American Flag Heels” and they should pop up – haha! 🙂
