Last week I hung out with Adam and Kate for their engagement photos in the Historic Third Ward of Milwaukee. I’m not super familiar with the downtown region since right now I live an hour away. But, this is exactly where Adam and Kate spend all their time! I had the best time getting escorted all over on a busy Friday night. We must have walked two miles, all over the Historic Third Ward, up and down the Milwaukee River, dodging cars and waiting for drawbridges, and popping some Prosecco as we watched the sunset over the river. We found tons of cool spots to stop and shoot at, and I am totally in love with how these photos turned out!
Kate told me all about when Adam proposed, and it is a super sweet story:
Well, originally Adam was going to propose on our first trip to Chicago, but the ring got DELAYED! Instead, it just happened on a regular afternoon. We stopped by a local restaurant to have lunch, went for a walk along Lake Michigan and he got down on one knee! Though I knew it was coming, I was genuinely surprised. There was a family reunion going on right next to us during the proposal. They cheered us on and took some pictures of us which was cute.
