I had so much fun with Paige and Josh for their engagement session at Carver-Roehl County Park in Darien! October in Wisconsin is such a magical time, and this was my first time ever shooting at this location. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a gorgeous hidden gem at the end of the road!

I asked Paige about when Josh proposed; here’s what she told me:

It was our 6 year anniversary and we went out to breakfast at the Norwegian (our favorite restaurant!). On our way home he asked if I wanted to spend the rest of the day at Lake Geneva but wanted to stop home so I could change. After I came out to the dining room I noticed our cat laying on the floor rolling all around Me, being the person I am, started freaking out thinking something was wrong with her. Hahaha! Josh told me to check her out so when I bent down I noticed her collar was on. Josh said “what is that? Look at it. What’s on her?” Then I saw the ring. He got down on one knee in our dining room, and asked me to marry him!

Anyway, Josh and Paige are adorable together, and we had so much fun. I can’t wait for their wedding next October!
