This is going to be one of my most pinned engagement sessions of the summer, I’m calling it right now! Why? Because check out Dana’s GORGEOUS dress!!! I am 900,000% obsessed with it – the color, the cut, the way it flows … I want to order one for myself!!

Anyway, I digress.

Meet my new besties, Dana and James! They took me to the coolest spot that I’d never been to for their engagement session at Kenosha Veterans Park in Twin Lakes. This is going to become one of my new favorite shooting locations for years to come, I bet! It has a little bit of everything I love about Wisconsin – the beautiful hills, evergreens, the lakes and wildflowers in the summertime. 10/10 recommend this spot!

James and Dana actually met on Tinder years back in their early 20s. They talked for a while before Dana ghosted him because she got serious with someone else, but they had stayed Snapchat buddies. A couple years later, they both happened to get new puppies for Christmas (well technically Dana had gotten her dad one), so they started chatting up again about their dogs. They became really close friends with similar sarcastic humors (which BTW I share with them, hahaha!), and after Dana became single again, they decided to give their connection a try and start dating. Both of their parents were insanely excited because Dana said they had always loved the way they had treated each other and their obvious comfort in each other.

FREAKING LOVE THAT.

I’m super excited for their wedding late spring next year, we are going to have so much fun together if their engagement session is any indication for their wedding!
