Family sessions are so much fun for me, especially when it brings people together from all over into one spot. Taylor reached out to me about documenting her family session at Palmer Park in Colorado Springs while they were all in town visiting her brother. Taylor’s brother and his gorgeous girlfriend live here in Colorado, Taylor and her new husband live out in California and her parents live down in Texas … so it was really awesome getting them all together!
The cool thing about extended family sessions is that there are so many cool dynamics – parents, siblings, spouses and sometimes kids and grandkids (although none here yet!). I loved getting to spend the afternoon with Taylor’s family, documenting each of their special relationships. I wanted them to walk away from their session with pictures they can frame for their hallways and send out for Christmas cards, and share on social media. I even did some headshots for Taylor and her husband, for their catering business out in California!
