Yep, you read the title of this blog correctly – fall. This fall engagement session at Castlewood Canyon is finally up on my blog, even though it’s mid February and its pure white outside instead of golden yellow and orange. But that’s ok, right? Hahaha!

Anyway – say hello to my friends Justin and Jordan!

Jordan is best friends with one of my 2017 brides, Ali – who also happens to be my assistant photographer! I first met Jordan at Ali’s wedding, and when she and Justin got engaged last year, I was so thrilled to hear from her! It’ll be so fun later this year when Ali serves as matron of honor at Jordan’s wedding! Jordan and Justin met online on match.com – and as Jordan puts it, online dating does work! Then, one night, they went to see a show at the Filmore and after the show, Jordan said they stayed up until 5 in the morning talking and the next day? They talked some more and watched TV and only got out of bed twice – the first time to get coffee and the next to get dinner. It was that night that both of them realized that they could live like this together for the rest of their lives.

And then, Justin proposed. Not the same night, but right after they decided to move in together. He took her out for a romantic dinner at a champagne bar, and got down on one knee to propose. Now here we are – just a few months away from their wedding!

I absolutely loved photographing their engagement session at Castlewood Canyon, it was my first time there and I can’t wait to go back again!
