You know when you meet with a couple, and immediately know that their wedding is going to be absolutely dreamy? And then you do their engagement photos, and they’re the easiest people in the world to photograph? Yep, that was absolutely my experience with Adam and Katie! We initially met up together for some coffee in Castle Rock while we were still living in Colorado, and a quick meet and greet turned into almost two hours of laughter and growing friendship and we looked so forward to their fall wedding in Breckenridge that we could hardly wait!

We began the day together at their AirBnB cabin in Frisco – which was tough, because they didn’t want to see each other until their first look up near Sapphire Point. They each took turns getting ready on the back porch, and we snuck in a first touch with their two pups since they weren’t able to go to the ceremony or reception. I love when couples choose to include their dogs – but y’all already knew that about me!

After doing their first look up near Sapphire Point, we headed toward Main Street Station for their outdoor ceremony. The views were absolutely outstanding and surreal, it’s hard to believe it was real life. Adam and Katie exchanged vows in front of all their family and closest friends, followed by family photos by the little pond there in downtown Breckenridge.

For their sunset portraits, we raced back to the road near Sapphire Point, where we hiked around and watched the sun go down behind the Rocky Mountains and danced around until it got too dark and cold for us to be outside. Adam and Katie’s wedding reception was at 10 Mile Station (a yummy brewery and concert hall in Breckenridge), complete with delicious drinks and a kick-ass live band.

I loved hanging out with Adam, Katie, their friends and their family for their fall wedding in Breckenridge – and I am so grateful for this last opportunity to visit Colorado as a wedding photographer. Congratulations you guys, we love you!
