Over the holiday weekend, we stayed off the computer and firmly planted in the most comfy chair at Ashley’s parents’ house. It was a glorious weekend of family and friends, and Ashley was blessed to spend part of the weekend with a friend from childhood – Carly, and her new husband Chase! We spent a little bit of time together in Joshua Tree, catching up over the last few years since graduating high school, and it was so wonderful to hear about all of the amazing things that Carly’s been up to since we shared the band room at Palm Springs High! Carly has gone on to some amazing life achievements, including graduating from Yale (like Rory!) and meeting this wonderful, wonderful man who brings the biggest smile out of her.
Chase and Carly got married in their new hometown of Boston just five months ago, (and it was photographed by the beautifully talented Rebecca Arthurs), and they wanted to do some glamorous photos together in our hometown’s famously beautiful desert landscape while they were in town for the holiday weekend. It doesn’t get much more festive and glamorous than gold dresses and Joshua trees!
It was so wonderful to catch up, and to celebrate all the joyous news and accomplishments since graduation! Thank you again, Carly, for asking us to be part of your holidays!!! Here are just a few of our favorites! xoxo
