I’m in a bit of a crazy transitional period, and I’m so grateful that I even have the opportunity to grow + be able to share about it with y’all. I originally wasn’t going to share anything until I knew more, but, decided authenticity mattered more.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s the scoop🍦
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The last few weeks + months have been crazy, to say the least.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️ Randy decided he wanted to pursue dreams outside of photography, so I reverted back to being a solo photographer.
▪️I decided I wanted to pursue fields of photography in addition to weddings + start helping other creative women start + succeed in their own businesses.
▪️We decided to move away from Colorado because our entire family is allergic to the state (literally allergic: eczema, allergies + altitude/weather related issues).
▪️ And now we have NO IDEA where we are moving in 10 weeks. 😬
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yep, you read that right. 😉
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We had originally decided to move to Texas + had all of our ducks in a row to go + buy a house next weekend in New Braunfels (!!!), but this past week Randy finally sat down with me and said he really wanted to move closer to his brother.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’re new here or can’t remember, Randy’s older brother was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer around Thanksgiving, and the Navy just moved him this week close to Jacksonville for treatment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Randy + I have done a lot of talking + praying + research and Randy’s put in for a transfer with his job and we literally could be moved anywhere from Mobile, AL to Savannah or even down to Tampa.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yep, that makes planning for a large family + running a wedding-industry based business SUPER easy. 😝
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So basically I want to say thank you for bearing with me during the next few weeks + months as we throw caution to the wind + put the future into the hands of a higher power + pray it all works out. 🙏
