Whew, 8 days in 2021 and it’s already looking like 2020 v.2. 🥴

There are so much ugliness swirling around social media right now, and I’m absolutely NOT here for it. 🙅🏻‍♀️

Instead of fueling the fire, I’m over here waving a white flag. 🏳 Life is too short and too fragile and too valuable to live it being unkind.

This week I’ve been reminded of this quote from Abraham Lincoln, which I first heard when I watched the movie American History X as a teen. It is:

“We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.”

Be kind, friends. Be kind. 🤟
