Katelyn and Matthew invited me to come out for their intimate backyard autumn wedding in Wisconsin. They decided to do a small elopement in Matthew’s brother’s backyard with just their family and very closest friends present. And you know what? It was absolutely perfect.
I was there for about an hour, and I was even able to get Randy to come and shoot with me! They are planning on having a bigger ceremony in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic next May, which will also double as their honeymoon.
Katelyn’s dad escorted her down the aisle to one of my favorite songs from the Twilight soundtrack, and during the ceremony they each recited their own, personalized vows. It was so sweet! To make the day even more special, it was their daughter Loraine’s 6 month birthdate anniversary, so of course I snuck in a few photos of her in the gorgeous autumn foliage. Wisconsin in the fall is absolutely breathtaking!
