Dan and Michelle are amazing, amazing people.
We first met them earlier this year, Skyping all the way in from Australia as they were in the early stages of planning their November wedding here in America at Michelle’s family home in Southern California. We knew right away that these two were a perfect fit for us – so sweet, so fun-loving, great style and they truly love each other! Ever since then, we’ve been watching their wedding plans come together and we have to say – we are sooooo excited about it. But, more on their wedding in just a few weeks (you guys won’t believe all the amazing plans they have – including a freakin’ Ferris wheel!).
Their Joshua Tree engagement session earlier this month was one of our favorites we’ve ever done! These two are so fun to talk to and hang around with, and they just loved the beauty that the monument has to offer. We talked about all the ways simply being in Australia can kill you (the sharks! the spiders! the crazy snakes!) and Australian food (prawns on the barbecue!), and their plans for their European honeymoon (including sleeping under the Northern Lights and visiting Paris). We talked about Dan’s music career and Michelle’s big move from America to Australia just a few years ago, and how they love to visit this little vintage shop near their home, and how the number 7 plays an important role in their relationship (including their fresh ink!), and how their big carnival wedding is a nod to their first date to the circus.
Basically, they’re just the coolest people ever and are just so perfectly-suited for each other, and we are so excited to share just a few of our favorites from their engagement session! Stay tuned for their wedding for their wedding in just a couple of weeks! xoxo
