This past weekend we got to spend another beautiful day in Castle Pines for Solomon + Sharon’s Korean wedding at Cielo at Castle Pines! It’s not too often that we shoot a wedding at the same venue twice in a row, but when we do – it’s pretty awesome! We’ve been looking forward to Solomon + Sharon’s wedding ever since their engagement session at Denver’s Union Station earlier this year.
These two met through mutual friends, and after dating for a while, Solomon proposed in the most incredible story we’ve ever heard. Sharon told us that Solomon had rented a space near the highlands in downtown Denver with a small private rooftop and had kept her busy in the day hanging out her best friend Deborah. Solo and Gina (Sharon’s sister) had spent the day getting the apartment ready with candles, flowers, and a personalized frame that said their names and after some fibs and trickery, Sharon ended up going to the roof, where Solo proposed at sunset overlooking the Denver skyline. So ultra romantic, right!?
Their wedding was absolutely incredible, from start to finish. Sharon’s mom Jenny did all of the florals, and her sister Gina helped plan and execute the entire day. All of the signs and the invitations were also designed and handwritten by Gina! There was a lot of Korean wedding traditions involved with their day, including a unity candle and the traditional bow to each of their parents as part of their ceremony. My favorite part of their wedding reception was the personalized donuts!! So fun!
We’re so excited for our friends, congratulations Solo + Sharon!
