Noah Purifoy Outdoor Art Museum Engagement Session
Keir and Elizabeth are two peas of the same pod – both are super sweet, fun to be around, and we all share a love for Del Taco (in fact, they showed up with Del Taco burritos and we couldn’t help but take a few photos with them – because Del Taco’s just that good!).
They’re getting married later this year at a gorgeous stone chapel (the Waverly Chapel, actually) and we just know it’s going to be absolutely beautiful. We actually paid homage to their upcoming wedding by visiting the Rock Chapel at Desert Christ Park in Yucca Valley – which was so rad. We’ve never shot there before, even though Randy grew up in the area and used to go there all the time as a kid. If you’ve never dropped by while on your way out to Joshua Tree – totally go check it out!
Afterward, we headed out to Joshua Tree to the Noah Purifoy Outdoor Art Museum. Now this place is totally eclectic and bizarre, with these crazy pieces of art made out of tossed aside items. A lot of it is sort of political in nature, and very thought provoking to see. Walking around the cacti and art, Keir + Elizabeth talked about how they met and all the plans for their wedding.
And then, we watched the sunset and it was absolutely brilliant. Ash couldn’t even take a photo of it, we just stood there watching the cotton candy swirls of clouds, turning everything golden and magenta. It was magical!
