Fabulously Modern Wedding at the O’Donnell House

Just a few days ago, we got to spend the day with Kelli, Anne and their closest friends and family… and we had literally the best time ever! We had been looking forward to this wedding since earlier this year, especially since their mid-century modern inspired engagement session a few months ago! They told us a few exciting secrets about what they had planned, and it turned out even better than we imagined!

Kelli and Anne did almost all of the planning themselves – and they even worked with their invitation designer to be able to make them all themselves. They got to use a press-printing machine and everything, and they turned out so perfect for their fabulously modern wedding!! On top of that, Anne designed all of the adorable signage and cocktail napkins – which we absolutely loved!!

But what was even better than all those amazing details? Their ceremony. We had a sneak peek at their vows before the wedding, and so we were prepared for all of the laughs and tears, but we loved hearing how Kelli proposed to Anne on a trip to Europe. Kelli had been waiting and waiting for the perfect moment to propose while on their vacation, carrying around the ring in her sock. The perfect moment just never happened, and finally they ended up in the town of Nice; and, you see, they had a terrible day. Everything that could go wrong, absolutely did – it was cold, they got lost, the couldn’t get a taxi back to their cruise ship – it was almost Shakespearean.

But finally, at the end of this road in the historic part of town, Kelli + Anne found themselves alone for the first time in the 2 weeks with a breathtaking view of the coast below them. In this moment, Kelli knelt down declaring to Anne:

“Even on our worst day, I wouldn’t want to spend it with anyone else.

I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

And that, as they say, was that.

These two – they belong together. They’re two pieces of the same puzzle, and we felt so blessed and honored to be part of their big day!! Congratulations, Anne + Kelli!!!
