Earlier this month I got to spend some time with Brooke and Kevin for their summer picnic engagement session and it was ABSOLUTELY perfect. We had so much fun hiking around White River County Park, snacking on delicious treats and sipping on some bubbly together!
Brooke and Kevin met when he interviewed her for a job; oddly enough, it wasn’t even a job she wanted but a “means to an end.” Brooke said that Kevin could definitely sense that by her bad attitude! Alas, she was given the job and she requested to be friends on Facebook a month later and the rest is history. When it came time for Kevin to propose, Brooke told me all about it:
We had got back from Christmas shopping and pulled the tree out of storage to put up. Kevin got the tree out and then started dinner. I was fanning the branches out to prep for decorating. The dogs started roughhousing and getting in my way, so I told them to stop and continued with the tree. 10 minutes later, they start playing again and I noticed something on Stella’s collar. I pulled her over and saw the ring zip-tied to her collar and asked Kevin what it was. He came over from the kitchen and said, ” I wondered how long it would take for you to notice!” and that he couldn’t wait any longer to ask me to marry him.
Such a sweet couple, I can’t wait for their wedding this time next summer!
