The Importance of Vitamin D For Depression

Mary Ruth Organics Vitamin D For Depression

Did you know that a vitamin D deficiency can play a role in mental health? Specifically there is a link between vitamin D deficiency and depression, which is something that both Randy and I have battled over the last several years.

Ever since I started working with my medical team to get my anxiety and depression under control, they’ve been encouraging me to take a good vitamin D supplement to boost my low levels and my labs are finally getting to where they should be. Randy just got his labs done and his vitamin D is low, too – so he’s joining me in taking a daily supplement. It doesn’t hurt that Mary Ruth Organics tastes more like a candy fruit snack than anything else! 😂

If you have ever battled depression, have you ever gotten your vitamin D checked? ☀️
