Meet the R family – Andrew, Heather and 2-year-old Lyla. Forgive me my overwhelming dorkyness, but this was one of those sessions where I just fell in love with the family and their images, and I really wanted to capture the love between Andrew and Heather. They are two very special people, both proudly serving this great country in our military, and Lyla is just the sweetest little love bug ever. To add to the effect, I totally was rocking some classical piano music (thank you Pandora for the Twilight station!), which really set the mood for editing. This was really my last official “fall” family session, because very soon afterward, Colorado Springs got hit with a little snow storm and all the beautiful oranges, yellows and red foliage has since fallen off  the trees over at Bear Creek (where we shot these images).
