We just adore these two – such a great couple of guys! We got to spend an afternoon together with them right before Thanksgiving, up in Joshua Tree. Can you believe they’d never been there before?? It was so much fun to show them some of our favorite sights in Joshua Tree, and we got to watch the most amazing sunset at the end.
Even better, we got the chance to get to know Jeff + Jack since they don’t live nearby; they were in the area prepping for their Palm Springs wedding next spring (which we are super stoked about!) and we got to squeeze in their engagement session during their trip. We had so much fun frolicking in the desert, laughing, chatting about our mutual love of concerts (and Britney Spears), and getting to know each other even better!
They met online eight years ago while they were both living in Las Vegas, and from the get-go there was an instant “zing”; in fact, they both knew right away that each other was “the One.” When it came time to getting engaged earlier this year, they have the BEST story!!! Jeff had bought a ring and was waiting to propose on his and Jack’s first trip to DisneyWorld. For some reason last minute Jeff decided to bring the ring with him on a quick weekend getaway to Las Vegas, to go see Jennifer Lopez. While getting ready for the show, Jeff decided that since they were in Vegas in their favorite resort – it was a full circle moment (since it was where their story began) and the time was just right. So in the privacy of their penthouse suite Jeff asked Jack to marry him. Moments later their friends entered with champagne to celebrate!
It was so fun to capture this two groom desert engagement session in Joshua Tree … we can’t wait to come back to Palm Springs in the spring for their wedding at the Riviera!
