While the big news today about our election is not what half the country wanted to hear, let me suggest this:

Let’s pray for our country and our new president. 💙

Let’s unite together with the hope that the fears and terror that half the country feels will never come to fruition. 💔 That we won’t lose our amendment rights, that we won’t see socialism in our democracy, that our economy will not collapse, that our freedoms will not be stripped away.

Let’s pray that the joy and jubilation that the far left feels will not overshadow the work that needs to be done. Remember four years ago the fears you felt? That’s how the right and red feel right now.

While I’m excited to see a woman in the White House and relieved that my sisters and brothers in the LGBT community are breathing sighs of relief that their rights won’t be questioned … I am undeniably terrified of the future of our economy, the pandemic and forced sanctions, and our long held American rights.

Let’s pray that the horrible mess 2020 has been can start a new chapter. 🙏
