Welcome Home 1LT Murray + MB13 | Fort Carson Homecoming Photography

December 20, 2012

So … of all my homecomings shot this year, this one was the one I not only looked forward to the most – but it was one that meant the most to me. See, Jessica (CPT Philip Murray’s amazing wife) is one of my favorite people in the world. She has been the exemplary wife – keeping busy during deployment, doing not one but TWO boudoir shoots while he was gone (oh yes, hubba hubba!) – she even home-brewed some beer for Phil to be ready right around the time he got home. I just love Jess to pieces, and so when she asked me to come to Phil’s homecoming, I don’t even think she had the time to finish her sentence before I was like “HECK YES!!!!!!” … Haha! Our friend Stephanie challenged me to try to get a shot of Jess crying – which she swore up and down she wouldn’t do … challenge accepted … AND challenge WON. Boom! We had a great laugh about it though, so it was all in good fun. Super big welcome home Phil, you were greatly missed and I’m so glad Jess is finally reunited with her best friend! Enjoy! xoxo

Heyyyy ... I'm Ashley Durham and I'm a luxury wedding photographer in Phoenix, but I travel all over Arizona and the desert southwest to hang out with the most incredible people. I am obsessed with puppies, extra hot coffee, sunrise and firmly believe that love conquers all.
