Welcome home, CW4 Brent Cook! When Debbie, Brent’s wife, called me and asked me to accompany her (and their two eight-year-old boys, Mitchell and Davis), I accepted immediately. The homecoming was supposed to take place down at Buttes Air Field on Fort Carson, but because of an ounce of luck and a Christmas wish – their flight was delayed to the afternoon of Christmas Eve and so their homecoming ceremony was canceled. and Debbie and the boys were able to pick up their hero at the Colorado Springs Airport. This was also the first time that Brent got to feel his new son kick in Debbie’s tummy – yay for R&R babies! Enjoy!
yep, I am crying….
Most important, a family reunited and welcoming a new baby. And for the BEAUTIFUL pictures/memories Ashley was able to capture. You are an artist! Gotta admit your canvas was super cool too. 🙂
Thanks for making me cry! Love the pictures & so glad he is home.
I love these so much Ashley! Thank you for taking time away from your family on Christmas Eve to share in this moment with my famly. There is no feeling like welcoming home my husband after a year long deployment. I will cherish these photos forever. You have an amazing talent and I look forward to our family session with our R&R baby. Thank you again a million times over again.
Great! Now I am BAWLING like a baby! SO happy you had this documented and even more happy that Brent is back in your arms! LOVE YOU Deb! Love this story! Thank you to Ashley for sacrificing her Christmas Eve to be there for these moments!
