I had no idea Wisconsin ice sculpting was a thing but apparently, it is!
Yesterday on the way to the grocery store, Katelyn and I stopped by the Burlington Ice Festival to check out the ice sculptures and we were not disappointed! So many incredibly cool pieces of ice art. My favorite was the one with the one with the cross, or maybe the one with the snowflake inside of the top portion. They were all pretty dang awesome though, I wish we had gotten there earlier in the day to watch them actually carve them! Next year we’ll have to go and actually watch that part of it.
Also: Wisconsin is amazing and I love it here.
This is the Pioneer Cabin, built in 1850. I love it, the aesthetic and the history is so cool. The Wisconsin ice sculpting competition was right next to it!
