Jonathan + Lauren are two pieces of the sweetest love puzzle ever. Just about two years ago, Lauren’s mom set the two of them up since they have a lot in common – a passion for education, beer, football and much more! – and from the get-go, these two knew each other was the One. In fact, Lauren told her mom that Jonathan was totally going to fall in love with her after their very first date …. and he absolutely did! And they’ve been together ever since.

Randy + I met them earlier this year at Jonathan’s sister’s wedding in Big Bear (hi Matt + Amanda!!) and soon thereafter, Lauren reached out to us about capturing their Coronado engagement session and their San Diego wedding reception next year  – lucky ducks are getting married in Kauai just a few days before their big California party! We started off the engagement session over in Coronado at Nicky Rotten’s, listening to the Chargers play (and the Seahawks), and then we headed over the ginormous bridge that connects Coronado Island to San Diego, and went to the Gaslight District by Petco Park. We were all a bit concerned about the clouds holding out, but luckily the rain held off and we had a gorgeous afternoon together!

We’re so thrilled to be part of Jonathan + Lauren’s love story, and can’t wait to see them again next summer for their big wedding reception after their Hawaiian wedding! Here are just a few of our MANY favorites from their Coronado engagement session! xoxo
