Perry High School Senior Session

Senior year is about celebrating everything you’ve worked so hard to accomplish—and for athletes, that means celebrating the sport that helped shape who they are.

Linnea’s senior session was split into two completely different experiences. While we’ll be sharing the second half of her session at Manistee Ranch soon, we started where so many of her memories were made: the basketball court at Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona.

As a basketball player preparing to continue her career at the junior college level, it only made sense to create a senior session that honored the countless hours, early mornings, practices, and games that got her here.

There’s something powerful about photographing female athletes in the place where they’ve poured so much of themselves.

These aren’t just basketball photos—they’re a celebration of years of dedication, leadership, resilience, and passion. Every athlete has a story, and senior sports portraits give them the opportunity to tell it in a way that goes far beyond a traditional yearbook photo.

I love creating sports portraits that feel bold, dramatic, and authentic to each athlete. Whether it’s using off-camera lighting on the court or capturing quiet moments between poses, my goal is to create images that showcase both the competitor and the person behind the uniform.

Photographing Linnea on the basketball court at Perry High School made this session even more meaningful. The court represents years of commitment, friendships, victories, challenges, and memories she’ll carry long after graduation.

As she prepares to continue playing basketball at the collegiate level, these portraits mark the end of one chapter while celebrating the beginning of the next.

I have no doubt she’s going to accomplish incredible things on and off the court.
