Arizona High School Football
This week I spent some time with the Shadow Ridge High School football team while they were doing the end of summer testing week. I wasn’t able to make it to every practice/test, but, I did stop by throughout the week to see the Shadow Ridge football team in action.
Testing is all about strength in the weight room and speed on the field. It was amazing to see how much this team has grown and improved since the beginning of the year!
Weight room testing measures each player’s strength in the bench press, dead lift, power clean and squat. Out on the field, every player ran their hearts out running the 40 yard dash.
I’m so excited for the 2024 football season to start next week. I’m pumped to be the official photographer for Shadow Ridge football, especially as I transition a sports photographer in Phoenix. There aren’t many women in the field nationwide, so this is going once an exciting challenge!
