Daniel and Brooke are seriously too cute for words. This Colorado Springs engagement session was done at SUNRISE. We actually started shooting at about 5:45 in the morning, but the light was so stunning – it was totally worth it! And with the purple flowers in the field, I actually got my long-sought-after “Twilight” shot! I may have jumped up and down with excitement afterward!
I met Brooke last year at a glamour shoot we did as a Valentine’s Day gift her then-new boyfriend, Daniel. I remember talking with Brooke about this guy, she was so absolutely smitten with him, that after her session I immediately thought she’s going to marry that man … and she is! Daniel proposed a few weeks ago on a short vacation trip to Glenwood Springs, under a full moon by the lake. When Daniel told me the story about how they got engaged, he was the definition of grinning from ear to ear – I think it’s safe to say that he is madly in love with Brooke. They are currently planning a modern July wedding at the Pinery, which I am sure will be absolutely stunning! After their wedding, Brooke and Dan will be moving out to California, where Brooke will serve as a freshly-commissioned officer in the US Air Force (graduation is only a few days away – this is certainly the most exciting year ever!!).
