The past few weeks have been an absolute blur for me. Between my surgery, two of my kids ending up in the emergency room (they’re both fine, but good grief), welcoming a new goat onto the farm, and about 57 other things that have happened … I have neglected my blog. It’s so weird not being on here a few times a week to share what’s been going on, luckily I’ve been posting on Instagram a lot so I can come back and add it here to my blog. Thankfully, things are settling down (just a teensy tiny bit) and this weekend I had two incredible sessions that I can’t wait to get on the blog. First up? Noelle’s Delafield Senior Session at Lapham Peak

I love nothing more than spending time with a high school senior taking their photos. A few days ago, Noelle’s mom Katie reached out to me because on a recent hike, they had come across the most gorgeous field of wildflowers. They knew it would be gone before we knew it, and that it would make a perfect location for Noelle’s senior photos. I just happened to be available, and so I made the hour drive up north to Delafield to hang out with them on a gorgeous afternoon. Their wildflower field did not disappoint!! I have no idea what kind of flowers they are, but there were purple, yellow and white and all over the trails at Lapham Peak.

Noelle is an incredibly driven young lady, with a bright future ahead. When she’s not busy doing mock trials and preparing for her future career as a lawyer, she loves spending time with her horse and playing tennis for fun.
