I am seriously loving all of these amazing family reunions in 2021 – and this Delavan Lake family photography session might be one of my favorites to date! I met up with Shelby & Jon and their kids Lila and Bo, Sara & Scott and their kids Emma, Grant, Molly and Kate, as well as the patriarchs of the family, Debra and Elliott.  They even had their puppy come hang out for a few photos! We hung out together at their rental lake house at Delavan Lake on a gorgeous Wisconsin summer evening and it was beyond gorgeous. I think Delavan Lake might be one of my favorite lakes to hang out at. Why? It’s not as populated and busy as Lake Geneva but it’s equally beautiful.

We got to take advantage of the rental’s private boating dock, and had a lot of fun together. I kept “stealing” the kids smiles, which made them giggle and laugh. That might be my favorite sound in the world to hear at family sessions! It’s amazing to see families coming back together after spending so much time apart. And it’s truly an honor for me to capture these moments! Grandparents hugging their grandkids is the best thing I’ve seen in 2021, hands down!
