Meet the wonderful Alafat family! Kim, Tom and their SIX kids were my first ever session for RED THREAD SESSIONS, which is an organization that connects photographers with adopting families. Tom and Kim have adopted not once, but TWICE, in addition to having four of their own beautiful children – so it was an absolute joy to work with this family! Their youngest daughter was adopted from China a few years ago as a baby, and their oldest son was just recently adopted from Latvia this summer. We had such a fun time, being goofy and laughing! I am so honored to be part of Red Thread Sessions, simply so I can be part of such awesome families as this one!
