You ever have one of those sessions where before you even get there, you’re already tearing up? This was TOTALLY that session. Katie and Ben contacted me a couple of months ago to capture their homecoming for Red Thread Sessions – welcoming home their daughter Elyse from China! I spent about an hour before they landed at the airport with their two older children, Will and Grace, and with a group of about a dozen friends and family eagerly awaiting their arrival! Everyone was just so super excited, you could feel it in the air. Even writing this blog right now, I’m totally choking up just thinking about what a wonderful day this was for the Komoda family. I’m so blessed to be part of their memories, and to now have made some wonderful new friends!!! xoxo
