Family

a family story | The Murphy’s, Falcon Family Photography

Oh my gosh – what a WONDERFUL session this was! I met Krystal and Mike when we were welcoming home the Komada family at the airport for their Red Thread Session – the two families had gone through the adoption process with China together the last few months. A few days later Krystal emailed me and asked me to capture her first ever family photos … and I was so excited! Mike and Krystal waited fourteen YEARS for these pictures – and I’m not going to lie, I cried when we were done with their session. The pure joy and happiness that was just POURING out of this family was so heartwarming and sincere – it was one of those sessions that I will always remember because of how wonderful the family is and how excited they were not just to have their pictures taken – but to be a completed family.

And let me tell you about Kaylah – my goodness, what a SWEET little thing! She just turned three in July, and every few minutes she would exclaim “YAY AMERICA!” – which I wish I had recorded, it was just so sweet! Especially when she would clap her hand and just smile the biggest smile I’ve ever seen. I’m so happy for Kaylah to have found her ‘forever family’ with Mike and Krystal, I couldn’t imagine two more deserving parents and wonderful people.
