Football Seniors With Their Moms
Another fall football season has come and gone, and this year was extra special for me. Over the last several months, I’ve been the official team photographer for Shadow Ridge High School football. It’s been AMAZING to say the least – and definitely has inspired me to lean more toward sports photography and athletics portraits here in Phoenix. It’s been an exciting challenge for me, after spending years photographing weddings. Taking game photos requires the same instinct on where the action is going to be, and fast thinking for camera settings. I have just absolutely loved it – I’ll be sharing some of my favorite game photos in a blog soon!
Anyway – this was a really fun senior session for me! When the team asked if I would take photos of the football seniors with their moms at our stadium, of course I said yes! Some of these moms have become some of my favorite people to spend time with, and they have welcomed me with open arms and warm hearts to this community. I am forever grateful to them, and to our team – our home.
