While I was in Panama City, Florida, I finally got to meet Kiersten of Kiersten Grant Photography! Kiersten is sort of a big deal – and she’s witty to boot. We had a great time at a local state park there in Panama City – where we watched three different couples get married at the same time (apparently that beach is a hotspot for nuptials??), laughing and joking around, watching my kids totally NOT listen to me as they got soaking wet in the water (you can see our family photos here!). Kiersten and I are both Julie Paisley workshop alumnus – although we didn’t take the same workshop together, we are both part of the secret group of awesome photographers who have mentored with Julie at one point or another … and I just knew I had to have her do our photos while we were in town … and luckily, she felt the same way about me! 🙂 The water is absolutely gorgeous and surprisingly warm – I totally get the “emerald coast” references now! I can’t wait to come back to visit Kiersten again!
