Randy and I are so excited about Jesse + Joie’s upcoming wedding this November … Not only is it going to be beautiful and unique, BUT, it’s our very first LDS (Mormon) wedding. Joie and I got to know each other with her sister and mom over some yummy chocolate croissants at Starbucks earlier this year, and we found out we have a TON in common. Not only is she a bookworm like I am, but she is also a big Harry Potter dork like me! We got to talking about all sorts of books and it seriously was friendship at first conversation. I immediately called Randy afterward and gushed over how I had a new friend and couldn’t wait to introduce them. Flash forward to last week, and we all finally got to hang out and do their engagement session.
We did part of their session in downtown Colorado Springs, and the other half at this really rad secret location near Joie’s parents’ house, that overlooks the west side of the Springs and had these amazing views of Pike’s Peak.
