This past weekend was the official start of our crazy fall engagement and wedding season! This is my absolute favorite time of year – not only is the weather getting cooler (can I get an amen!?) and the leaves are starting to change colors, but it’s that time of year where romance is just in the air. I’m so thrilled that Kevin and Kim were the very first couple of the fall season! They actually live up north near San Francisco, but were in town for a family celebration. I’m so glad we go to do their Joshua Tree engagement session while they were in town!
We spent a couple hours together in the monument, walking around the desert and climbing around the big boulders. I think I traumatized Kevin a little bit talking about the different kinds of scary bugs and snakes we have out here; Kevin said that scorpions are basically giant spiders with pinchers and armor – and I totally agree! Luckily we didn’t run into any of the desert creepy crawlies while we were out, but we did see a few pretty neat looking lizards.
Randy and I are so excited for their wedding in January at the Corona Yacht Club, I know it’s just going to be the best day ever!
