I met Staci a few weeks ago, and immediately thought to myself, “man, I wish she lived closer!” You see, she is an incredible photographer, a newlywed and a new momma, and I really just liked hangin’ with her. We got to talking about things like the Academy and I even got to spend some time with her on a mentoring call, helping her guide her business in a new direction (because yep, I offer mentoring sessions!) and by the end of the call, we decided we just had to get together the next time we had some availability in our travels to SoCal … and it just happened to work out that we could stop by our favorite apple farm on our way to the airport!
So, we made plans to hang out with Staci and her adorable 6 month old baby girl Kinsley for some mommy and me photos at Riley’s Apple Farm and boy was it packed! Even though all the fall colors back at home have completely left us for the year, fall is still holding on in SoCal for just a bit longer (probably because it’s so much warmer there). We absolutely love Riley’s, and it was so much fun finding little spots to shoot in away from the crowds. Randy just loved making little Kinsley laugh, which was pretty easy because I’m pretty sure she’s the happiest baby in the whole world. Everything just brings this little girl so much joy – apples, the dirt, her momma’s hair, her shoes, crazy Randy making silly faces behind me – haha!
I am so grateful for the opportunity to capture moments like this. I wish I had pictures with all of my kids like this when they were littler, real moments that are worth absolutely everything!
