Matt and Michael came down to the desert for the weekend, to start checking out venues for the wedding next March! While they were in town, we decided to do a fun engagement session out by the windmills in north Palm Springs and we had so much fun! Got to see a giant lizard and watch a beautiful sunset, all the meanwhile laughing and talking about their upcoming wedding.
Michael, originally from the Los Angeles area, spent some time abroad in London during his college years at Syracuse and absolutely fell in love with it. Once he graduated, he moved there to start his career as a film maker and has been there pretty much ever since. Matt grew up on the other side of the world, in Ireland (and has a faint but awesome Irish accent), but lives in England for his job as well. They met in London a few years ago, at a music festival by chance; retelling the story, Matt laughed and said, “yeah it wasn’t a good festival, but it was a great day!”
Now they’re planning their Palm Springs destination wedding for next year with Cathy of Celebrations of Joy – so we know it’s going to be absolutely beautiful!
