Phoenix Senior Photos at Phon B Sutton & Downtown Phoenix
When Emily and her mom first reached out to me about doing her senior photos, they wanted to make sure we had two totally unique settings. One, to reminisce about their time living near the city in New York, but also someone very “Arizona.” Of course, I knew exactly where to take them! There’s a really cool urban vibe near downtown Phoenix on Roosevelt Street, complete with skyscrapers and graffiti. I love spending time over there, because it’s a really cool non-desert photo shoot location idea. The other spot we went to is out by the Salt River, this beautiful spot called Phon B Sutton.
This was my first time going to Phon B Sutton for a session, and boy was it crowded. You’d never guess by these photos, but there were dozens of families getting their photos taken! If you want to take photos at Phon B Sutton, I definitely wouldn’t recommend going on a weekend afternoon. 🤣
Anyway – Emily is such a cool senior. Not only does she play the piano and guitar, but she’s also recently picked up muay thai! Hopefully I’ll get to see her again around the Arizona State University campus next year, since that’s where she’s planning to go. She told me that she wants to be a pharmacist that makes medication more palatable – which such a great thing. I love that for her!
