Josh and Londee’s Rock Ledge Ranch farmhouse engagement session was a perfect way to kick off summer engagement season! I could not have pictured a more beautiful spot to spend an afternoon – summertime in Colorado is unlike any other. It’s beautifully green, tempered with crazy thunderstorms that roll through; luckily, the day I met up with Josh and Londee was wonderfully warm and sunny.
These two, you guys – talk about the most “rad” couples ever. Josh and Londee remind me so much of Randy and me when we first met – it was this instantaneous “this is it” feeling. When we were in the middle of their session, I asked Josh to tell me about the first time he knew that Londee was the One for him – and he looked at her with this coy, sweet smile and said, “before I even talked to her.”
Josh saw Londee from across the way while they were both in Chiropractic school in Atlanta, and finally worked up the courage to go on and talk to her. He asked her for his number, but his phone died before he could save it. Then he messaged her on Facebook, but got no response. It took two years for her to respond to him – but when she did … it was a dream come true for Josh.
When it came time for Josh to propose, he actually did it on a trip to Southern California! On the last day of their trip, they went to the beach and he got down on one knee and before he could even finish asking, Londee cut him off with a resounding “YES!!!!”
And now here we are … just about a month away from their wedding!! We are so stoked to go up to Estes Park at the end of June, and meet their family and friends. From what they told me they’ve got planned, it’s going to be an absolutely incredible wedding!!!
