This was easily one of my favorite outdoor glamour sessions I’ve ever done. T’Ann of Boho Beauty Studio, located in Salt Lake City, did an amazing job both modeling and with hair and makeup (session was styled by Kandis Broadhead). I did this shoot last summer while I was in Utah, and it was absolutely amazing. Going in to the great Salt Lake was an interesting experience, to say the least … I made the mistake of shaving my legs the night before – worst.idea.EVER! Obviously it’s pretty salty, and spending about half an hour actually in the water was pretty rough on my skin … but it was totally worth it for these shots. T’Ann reminded me of a long-forgotten goddess of the sea – I loved the simplicity of the green flowy gown – very beautiful and modest, but sensual and a bit boho chic. This session was done at sunrise in the full sun – many photographers shy away from full sun but I think it made this session just that much more amazing. Enjoy! xoxo
